Doesn't matter. As long as SDLC keeps him in the minors and doesn't call him up, he is his property. A gallant effort though.....

Wow, pretty confusing.... Dude doesn't become a free agent once he exceeds his MLB innings/at-bats. Come on man, looking for loopholes like that is pretty bunk. Just stick to your daily picking up and dropping random single-A players strategy.

Like I said right from the beginning, I believe my claim is valid however it is up to Tim to affirm or deny it. I have no desire to get into an argument. I made an error when I said Adeiny exceeded eligibility on the 10th, it was actually April 3rd.
I have no idea why you are criticizing me for picking up sleepers. Some of the best current players and prospects were not big name guys (Albert Pujols, Starlin Castro, Oscar Taveras etc.). I enjoy monitoring prospects and I am not breaking any rules by doing so.

Hech did exceed his rookie limits, but since he was under limits when the year started, he can be kept in SDLC's minors until the end of this year. After that, he must be called up or dropped.
However, if he is called up at any point this season, he cannot be sent back down.

I think a bad precedent is being set here but I'll drop Adeiny with no ill feelings.

I just don't think it's fair to say that the instant a player goes over their eligibility, they can be stolen. To me, and in other leagues I'm in, if a player is under eligibility before the season starts, they can be rostered there the whole season even if they exceed eligibility during the season.
What would you propose Dennis?

I'm 100% on board if the rule is you retain a player for the entire year that he exceeds his minors eligibility. There are certainly benefits of such a setup.
