I claimed him a few weeks ago.
I had asked a LM to please add A-Rod to my roster but it was not done.

Mark
To my understanding about picking free agents. If you have a open roster spot or you can drop a player, to pick up free agent. I do not think that you can pick up free agent on espn and you have no room for free agent pick up. Then ask for league manager to automatic pick him on DL because you can not do it on espn. If you are right about this. Then all of us can add free agent that are on DL on espn and have league manager to do it for you.

Mark
Bottom line is that I pick him up with out asking for help. I noticed that you tried to pick him up a couple weeks ago and ask for help. So tell me why need help on this? I have waited for awhile to pick him up.

No one had an issue with my claim when I made it a few weeks ago. It was viewed at least 8 times without anyone commenting on it. If you noticed that I picked him up a few weeks ago, then you should have asked why he has not been added to my roster yet.

I had tried to claim him earlier in the year and Tim added him for me so I wouldnt have to drop someone just to add Arod to my DL. It turns out he was still owned by Laser Cats at the time, so my claim was invalid. When he was dropped, I claimed him and asked a LM to add him for me, like before. If it was okay then, I'm not sure why it wouldnt be okay now?

Thank you for the response but all means that is not correct way to do it. All you have to do was drop a player off on ESPN site or have a open roster spot to get a player open ESPN free agent site.

Sorry crownman. Ryan can claim him straight to a DL spot. I received the request from Ryan to make the add and I meant to, it just slipped my mind. A-Rod is Ryan Mark's property. Will be added to DL on ESPN

C'MON MAN. By all means this is not right... You need to make rules here about this. So well all could understand this BULLSHIT. So Kin but I'm just surprised about this. I have tried to be nice but enough of this BULLSHIT. On this matter...I will play this fucking game and I will say nothing anymore.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry Michael. I know it stinks for you. However, I don't really see how it's against the rules. The only issue here is the limitations of ESPN that you have to add a player, then put them on the DL. Since we only use ESPN as a vessel for our scoring and keep the rosters here on Proboards, we don't have to operate under ESPN's limitations. I understand the confusion on your part, but it was clear that Ryan picked up A-Rod a few weeks ago and he was just never added to his roster. A quick search on here would have shown that he was on Ryan's roster on the DL. I apologize that you feel wronged in this. I truly do, and I appreciate you seeking out the right course of action through this, I just feel like we have been clear on this before that we operate the rosters here on Proboards, not simply on ESPN.

The RULES TIM... All he have to do was get that player by himself on ESPN but he have to do was. DROP A PLAYER AND ADD THE PLAYER HE WANTED. Is that to hard for any player to do that. Example one. Like I did yesterday. Now I know that all we have to do is. HAVE THE BOARD TO DO THE WORK FOR US AND FORGET ESPN RULES. LAST YEAR I WAS HAPPY PLAYING THIS GAME BUT NOW...I AM LAUGHING MY ASS OFF ON THE LEAGUE. IN THE FUTURE I WILL DO WHAT YOU SAYING AND IF YOU SAY NO TO ME ABOUT ANY CHANGES THAT I MAKE. THEN I KNOW THIS LEAGUE IS REALLY FUCK UP MAN.

Tim after I stop laughing and relax about this. What I mean about this league is fuck up.
Why can we do this on ESPN SITE and do the FREE AGENTS by our self? All we have to do is have a open roster spot or drop a player off. To get the player you wanted on ESPN SITE. But you are telling me. That we have to do it here and update your team. You will make the changes for us on ESPN SITE.
All that Mark need to do is Drop a player and get the player on free agent on ESPN site. So tell me why Mark had a problem of getting a player on free agent on ESPN SITE?
Like I did yesterday!!! It was easy for me to do but now I have to do is put it on here and you can make the changes on ESPN site for me. I feel like a little kid doing this!!!
I been doing FANTASY BASEBALL LEAGUE for 12 years. Last year was my first year doing this league. Just putting my two cents on this madder.
So Tim don't hit me, like my dad used to do when I was kid for saying bad words. LOL

I vote to put Alex Rodriguez on a restricted list where nobody owns him. He's such a troublemaker. He was the reason behind a major dispute between myself/SDLC and now this. I'm only half joking.

I'm not saying that I will make the changes for you on ESPN. This was a special case. To me, each team has their 30 roster spots plus 3 DL spots. You can add a guy however you want. Ryan had a full 30 player roster but wanted to add A-Rod who is on the DL. He didn't want to drop anyone on his roster to make that move since they would have been eligible for claim. So he asked me to add A-Rod directly to his DL using my LM Powers on ESPN.
I'm not saying that me making the move is what makes it official. What I am saying is that posting the move here on the board makes it official. Then the owners can update their roster on ESPN and here on proboards. If you want me to make a move for you, I will, you'll just need to ask me like Ryan did.

Thank you for answering why you did it. For me that is not right but your reason why you did it. I will accept it.

Thank you Michael. If you feel this isn't the correct way to do it, I encourage you to bring it up for discussion with the league to make a rule change. I would be glad to listen to discussion. Sadly, only you and I, and Ryan de facto have weighed in on this thread.

You can keep it that way because in the future. Example: I keep all my players on ESPN site. If I have a open spot(s) on DL. I will ask you to put a player(s) on DL for me. For next year. Also thank you for your honest answer on this madder Tim.
