WWAS and I have discussed it, and I am going to be stepping down as League Manager, effective immediately.
Two offseasons ago, I was a perfect fit for the job--I had nothing but free time, and I spent a good portion of that free time tooling around on our message boards. Since then, things have changed. I don't have nearly as much free time. This is evident in how rarely I updated the main page on ESPN last year.
However, I didn't change in a vacuum. The amount of turnover the league underwent that offseason changed it forever, for the better. The existential desperation of trying to fill the league two years back feels completely foreign. And as such, while I may have been a good fit as LM back then, that is no longer the case. I'm cranky, stressed, overworked, and pushed to the brink--and that's WITH half-assing it as LM the past year or so, too.
For the record, I'm not dropping out of the league. I haven't won a decade straight of championships yet, so why would I? I'm just punting the administrative duties to someone who can actually give them the attention they deserve.
Thank you for your time, thank you for the opportunity to do this the past few years, and go Laser Cats! Colin

Thank you Colin. Your help over the past couple of years was greatly appreciated. I am happy you have decided to remain part of our league. Your sense of humour and honest takes (sometimes brutally honest) on league happenings, always generate laughs and healthy discussion. Good luck with everything, except the ten straight titles.
