I think we will need two separate votes. One with the following:
Add 2 Major League spots AND 2 Minor league spots Add 1 Major league spots AND 2 Minor league spots Add no spots?
Then if we add spots, a vote on how to introduce those new spots. Draft, timing, Bench vs lineu spots.

i think we should leave the major league rosters as is. I already had to drop some guys to make my roster legal so I say leave it alone.

I'm cool with adding a couple minor league spots though. I think leaving the major league rosters as is makes you "manage" your roster a little better and have to make difficult decisions.

These changes would likely take effect in the offseason of next year, giving everyone plenty of time to prepare for strategy changes.

Something I have to mention, since I haven't seen it discussed yet: if we're expanding MLB rosters I strongly suggest that we also give a corresponding bump up to the starts limit.
Since I joined this league it has always been an offense-heavy setup, because the start limit effectively kills the value of "innings eater"-grade starting pitching. There's generally about ten times as many free agents in a starting rotation as there are in a regular starting lineup. I'm guessing here, because ESPN is down for maintenance and I can't double check, but I don't feel like this is a statement that will incite much controversy. Furthermore, I'm not saying this to complain--simply to point out that, if we expand rosters without also adding a few more starts per team during the season, all we are doing is making that hitting-pitching imbalance more lopsided.

Good point. Once the site is back up, we'll look into the starts thing

Currently each team is allotted 215 starts per season. If we decide to expand the MLB rosters by two I propose that, in order to effectively make that a de facto "one hitter, one pitcher per team," we add 35 starts to that and make the new limit 250.

Adding the additional innings is a good suggestion.
